Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC)
Development of technologies and aids to support children who do not use spoken words to communicate. This can include keyword sign, visuals, communication apps and devices, and communication books + more. Education and training for carers and families to use their child’s AAC.
Early Language
Interventions for toddlers (and their families) who aren’t using words yet and require assistance expressing their needs and wants. Strategies to help toddlers build their expressive and receptive vocabulary.
Speech Sound Development
Interventions for children who have trouble saying words clearly and being understood by others. Support and education for families who struggle to understand what their child is saying.
Sensory Feeding Interventions
These interventions aim to take the stress out of mealtimes, build a child’s confidence when eating new foods, and increase the types of food eaten by the child. Education and empowerment for parents and families to support restricted eating.
Therapy & Assessment
Therapy and assessment aims to explore meaningful communication across clients’ day-to-day environments. Interventions are adapted to meet client needs and help them build their communication skills. Dynamic and standardised assessments are used to establish goals, baselines, and communication potential.
Group Interventions
Group interventions provide the client an opportunity to generalise the skills they learn in individual settings in a group of their peers. Clients are able to engage and connect with same-age peers to expand their communication skills.
